An absolutely STUNNING story! Sometimes sequels aren’t as good as the original but “To Save a King” was just as good or maybe even a little better then the first installment in the series! Gemma and John’s story, their struggles and the opposition they face are perfect for this season of life。 It just goes to show that second chances are possible and God is even better then we could think or imagine。 This story came to life and I loved all the cameos from past characters! MJSH,

This series should definitely be read in order since the first book lays down some important background for this book。 I received the book via Celebrate Lit Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive review。 All comments are solely my own。 。。。more

R。j。,
I want to love this book, but I felt like something was missing。 So much drama happens in the form of media posts and I just felt like it wasn’t quite as effective as seeing it in the main plot。 Also, I haven’t read the Wedding Dress book, so I felt like I missed a ton。 This series, while technically a standalone, relies heavily on the author’s previous books。 I obviously missed a lot。 And just because I am a Social Studies teacher, I’m not really excited about the carbon copy of the UK system。 I want to love this book, but I felt like something was missing。 So much drama happens in the form of media posts and I just felt like it wasn’t quite as effective as seeing it in the main plot。 Also, I haven’t read the Wedding Dress book, so I felt like I missed a ton。 This series, while technically a standalone, relies heavily on the author’s previous books。 I obviously missed a lot。 And just because I am a Social Studies teacher, I’m not really excited about the carbon copy of the UK system。 Some tweaks, but honestly the world building of this author isn’t my favorite。 It was nice。 Nice enough for 4 stars, but not my favorite。 I received a copy of this book to facilitate a review。 All opinions are my own and I was not required to leave a review positive or otherwise。 。。。more
